I am relatively new to both Twitter and to Facebook. The large-scale draw of social networking quite honestly befuddles me, but since I have been contacted by just about everyone I “ran” with in High School I will admit that these sites are beginning to have some appeal to me personally. I am still perplexed as to why I received a notification that someone had figuratively “thrown food” at me inside of Facebook. Huh?

One of the questions that I did have as I explored the world of social networking was, how do I consolidate my postings? I downloaded the Twitterberry and Facebook application for my blackberry, but still has the same problem. I simply want a single point to place my tweets/status updates. With a little searching I was able to find another Facebook to Twitter application that solved this issue quite nicely. Once installed it pulls in your latest tweet as your status inside of Facebook, problem solved (I thought it was worth sharing).

Tweetree

One of the sites that really helped as I transition into this new, social world is Tweetree. I you are not familiar with it I suggest that you go check it out:

Tweetree puts your Twitter stream in a tree so you can see the posts people are replying to in context.

Adding this seemingly simple layer of organizational structure to my tweets made all the difference in the world for me in how I perceived Twitter and it’s applications to me.
